The Chakra System: Knowledge and Balance

The word chakra in Sanskrit means "wheel". Traditionally, there are 7 energy "wheels" located along the spine of the body. We balance our chakras in order to clean up outdated, dysfunctional or negative programming that may be getting in the way of living our best life.

Join Justin Ifill as he guides you through this Chakra-focused workshop introducing the chakra system and how it is related to yoga and wellness. This workshop will include an education on the energetic chakra system, specific yoga postures, mudras, mantras, chanting, visualization, and essential oils to open, awaken, and balance each of your chakras.

Each participant will receive their own crystal candle. 

Time Commitment

This workshop meets consecutive Saturdays from January 9th until January 30th. Participants are encouraged to attend all four sessions, however, sessions are designed to be stand alone. Each session will be a combination of asana (postures), lecture, journaling, as well as meditation and essential oils practice to help simulate and balance each chakra. Starting with a 75-minute class at 12pm, we will have a short break followed by journaling, lecture, and conversation. 

January 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th.

Asana practice 12:00pm-1:15pm

Break 1:15pm-1:30pm

Lecture/Conversation 1:30pm-2:30pm
