Position Overview

Shambhala Yoga and Dance Studio is seeking a dynamic and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our vibrant team. As the first point of contact for our studio, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, managing studio projects, and converting new students into members. The ideal candidate is passionate about wellness, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and is adept at managing multiple tasks with efficiency and grace.



Key Responsibilities

- Greet and welcome visitors, students, and members with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere for all.

- Effectively communicate the studio's offerings, class schedules, membership options, and promotions to prospective and current students.

- Use persuasive communication techniques to convert new students into loyal members, highlighting the benefits of our classes and membership packages.

- Manage some or all aspects of studio projects, including coordinating workshops, events, and special programs. This could involve planning, scheduling, promoting, and ensuring smooth execution.

- Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and exceptional customer service at all times.

- Assist with class check-ins, registrations, and payments using our studio management software.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, ensuring a welcoming and professional appearance.

- Collaborate with instructors, management, and other team members to facilitate effective studio operations.

- Proactively address customer concerns, feedback, and requests, seeking solutions to enhance their experience.

- Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials, both digital and physical, to promote the studio's offerings.

- Support social media efforts by providing content and engaging with online communities to foster a sense of community.

- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development to stay informed about studio updates and industry trends.
